Roten's Alternative Fuel Technology Shines at the China Cement Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Conference

"On September 2nd, the '9th China Cement Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Technology Exchange Conference and Cement 'Dual Carbon' Conference,' hosted by China Cement Network, was held in Wuhu, Anhui. The conference focused on the theme of 'Energy Conservation, Carbon Reduction, Creating New Efficiency, and Green Upgrading.'

Representatives from China's top 100 cement enterprises, including Conch Group, Huaxin Cement, China Resources Cement, Shanshui Cement, Jinyu Jidong Cement, China National Building Materials Xintianshan, Gezhouba Cement, and Yatai Building Materials Group, as well as leaders from the Cement Big Data Research Institute, CITIC Runtian Environmental Protection, Southwest University, and China Bulk Cement Association, totaling more than 800 attendees, participated in the event to share their expertise and insights."

Ms. Dong, Executive Director of Roten Environmental, was invited to the conference and delivered a special presentation on industry hot topics such as cement kiln alternative fuel technology, RDF/SRF technology for solid waste preparation, and hazardous waste step preheating furnace.

Ms. Dong pointed out that by preprocessing waste into alternative fuels that meet SRF or RDF standards before sending them into cement kilns, it is possible to reduce the usage of fossil fuels such as coal while disposing of waste. Compared to traditional disposal methods, alternative fuel technology does not require the construction of new incinerators, thus reducing duplicate investments in environmental facilities. Additionally, high-quality alternative fuels like RDF and SRF significantly reduce the consumption of coal, which will greatly contribute to China's ambitious goal of reaching a carbon peak by 2030.
